Every original literary, dramatic, musical and artistic work, including computer programs, database, multimedia works, books, photographs, advertisement, logos and sound recordings, is protected by copyright when registered in one of the member countries of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) or the WTO (World Trade Organization).

A Copyright owner has the exclusive right to control the work’s reproduction, public performance, public telecommunication, publication, translation and adaption, as well as to prohibit the distribution of unlawful copies.
